Mark Ashton Professor Ashton is Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne and past Head of Plastic Surgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is on the Executive Council of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and is an Invited Editor for The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal in America. Mark is Director of the Taylor Research Lab within the Anatomy Department of the University of Melbourne and is Chair of the Surgical Committee for Interplast, a not for profit charity providing Plastic Surgery to the Asia Pacific region. Professor Ashton has published 6 book chapters and over 200 articles on Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in peer reviewed national and international journals Mark specializes in cosmetic surgery (such as breast augmentation), along with reconstructive breast surgery, (such as surgery following cancer surgery and breast reduction) and facial aesthetic surgery. In May 2017 Professor Ashton was elected President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the peak body representing Specialist Plastic Surgeons in Australia.

Benjamin Burt Dr Benjamin Burt is a Specialist Oculoplastic Surgeon. Dr Burt (FRANZCO FACS) has extensive surgical experience in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. An Ophthalmologist for over 10 years, Dr Benjamin Burt specialises in Oculoplastic Surgery of the orbit, eyelids, periorbital, face, and the reconstruction of the eye and associated structures. Dr. Burt has completed a dual fellowship at the University of California (Los Angeles) (UCLA) under the renowned Dr Robert Goldberg and an Oculopastic fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand. He has an impressive record of international presentations and publications and is currently an editor/reviewer of several prestigious Ophthalmology journals.

Peter Callan Peter Callan has been a Plastic Surgeon for almost 25 years practising in Geelong, Victoria. His main interests are rhinoplasty, facial and eyelid surgery, and breast surgery. Peter is committed to the exchange of ideas between Plastic Surgeons and other specialties particularly in the fields of rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery and facial surgery.

Peter Callan has been a Plastic Surgeon for almost 25 years practising in Geelong, Victoria. His main interests are rhinoplasty, facial and eyelid surgery, and breast surgery. Peter is committed to the exchange of ideas between Plastic Surgeons and other specialties particularly in the fields of rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery and facial surgery.

Andrew Kim Dr Andrew Kim was born in South Korea and came to Australia when he was 16 years old. He Graduated from UNSW Medical School. His Post graduate achievements include a Ph.D in Medicine from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. His Extensive Cosmetic Surgical training has mainly taken place in South Korea. He performs Hair Transplant Surgery, as well as facial cosmetic surgery exclusively eyelid surgery, Septo-Rhinoplasty and Face Lifts. He has been a fellow of Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery and former visiting professor (Honorary) at Hair Transplant Clinic in Kyung Book National University Hospital in South Korea. He has been practicing for 16 years in cosmetic surgery in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. His special interests are Ptosis Correction with Asian Double fold Surgery and Septo-Rhinoplasty with lengthening of Asian short Nose. Special Interests: Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Face Lift and Hair Transplant.

Andrew Kim

George Marcells Dr Marcells is an ENT, Facial Plastic Surgeon based in Edgecliff in Sydney. He is the President of the AAFPS (Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery). He is Co-Director of the Sydney Rhinology Fellowship which accepts Fellows for advanced rhinology training through the American Match program. Dr Marcells is actively involved in Rhinology research and is Supervising an Honours Student Project on the External Nasal Valve.

George Marcells

Terence Poon Dr Poon is a Dermatologist and Laser Specialist and the medical director of Neutral Bay Laser & Dermatology Clinic and principal of Central Sydney Dermatology. Dr Poon graduated in Medicine with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1996 and continued with his specialist training at Westmead Hospital, The New Chidlren’s Hospital Westmead, The Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia (Westmead and Darlinghurst),St Vincents Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Prior to completing his dermatology training, Dr Poon undertook research at Royal Prince Alfred and the University of Sydney investigating the effectiveness of sunscreens in the prevention of skin cancer. This research resulted in both the award of a doctorate from the University of Sydney as well as the Cure Cancer Australia Young Researcher of the Year award. Whilst undertaking his specialty training, Dr Poon developed a strong interest in laser dermatology when seeing the dramatic improvement achieved by laser surgery on disfiguring birthmarks while working at Westmead Children’s Hospital. This resulted in his undertaking extensive international training and completing a sub-specialty fellowship in cosmetic and laser dermatology.

Terence Poon

Dr Poon is a Dermatologist and Laser Specialist and the medical director of Neutral Bay Laser & Dermatology Clinic and principal of Central Sydney Dermatology.

Dr Poon graduated in Medicine with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1996 and continued with his specialist training at Westmead Hospital, The New Chidlren’s Hospital Westmead, The Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia (Westmead and Darlinghurst),St Vincents Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Prior to completing his dermatology training, Dr Poon undertook research at Royal Prince Alfred and the University of Sydney investigating the effectiveness of sunscreens in the prevention of skin cancer. Simon Taylor Dr Simon Taylor is an Ophthalmologist with a subspecialty practice in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery. Dr Taylor graduated in Medicine with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney in 1989. Specialist Ophthalmology training was undertaken at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, and then as the Senior Professorial Registrar at the Sydney Eye Hospital. His subspecialty training in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery was then undertaken in Australia, USA and the UK. He was the Honorary Oculoplastic Fellow at the Sydney Eye Hospital in 1999. Fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery was then undertaken at the University of Michigan, the University of Utah and Royal Manchester Eye Hospital, Manchester, UK. Dr Taylor is an Honorary Associate at the Sydney Eye Hospital, a consultant at the Skin & Cancer Foundation and a VMO at Westmead Hospital. He holds the position of Senior Lecturer at University of Sydney and the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School.
