MICHAEL Groth
Dr. Michael Groth is a renowned expert in aesthetic eyelid surgery and has practiced in Beverly Hills for 25 years. He completed his residency and fellowship at UCLA’s prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute. He trained under renowned surgeon Dr. Henry I Baylis. As an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA, Dr. Groth teaches regularly and has lectured extensively. He has authored many articles and book chapters on Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery. Dr Groth has performed thousands of aesthetic eyelid and eyebrow procedures. Tanuj Nakra
Tanuj Nakra, MD, FACS is a triple board-certified facial and ophthalmic plastic surgeon. He is widely recognised for his expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nakra serves on the full-time faculty at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, and directs the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) Fellowship at TOC Eye and Face. Dr. Nakra is a recipient of the 2024 Henry Baylis Cosmetic Surgery Award from the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). He is known for his significant contributions to the field of aesthetic surgery, and has received the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Naresh Joshi
Naresh Joshi, consultant oculoplastic surgeon practices, in London UK. He is an honorary consultant at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital NHS trust, Imperial College London.
He is a founder member, and ex-president of the British Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Society (BOPSS). He heads the BOPSS and Royal College of Ophthalmologists aesthetics subcommittee. He is the UK representative on the executive board of ESOPRS.
He is the co-founder of the Craniofacial Ophthalmic Plastic Service (COPS), at Chelsea and Westminster hospital with an interest in reconstructive ophthalmic plastic surgery in craniofacial anomalies, and aesthetic surgery.
Wendy W. Lee
Wendy W. Lee, MD, MS, is Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Dermatology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Lee conducts research at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute with special interests in eyelid reconstruction, the aging eyelid skin, and aesthetic lasers. She lectures around the world on oculoplastic disorders and aesthetic treatments related to the eye. She’s been published extensively, both in peer-reviewed journals and in teaching text books. Dr. Lee received the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Henry Baylis Award for Excellence in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Professor of the Year Award from the residents at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Outstanding Alumnus from the Tulane University Department of Ophthalmology.
Charles Boyd
Dr. Boyd specialises in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation including facelifts, brow lifts, eye lifts, rhinoplasty, and neck lifts. He is also a specialist in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. ALAN LESSNER
Dr. Lessner has practiced ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery for over 25 years in Gainesville, Florida. He graduated at the top of his class from Albany Medical College and was selected for Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He then trained in ophthalmology at the University of Florida and subsequently completed prestigious fellowships in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at UCLA, in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills California, and Orbital Surgery at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. After completing his fellowships, he returned to Gainesville, Florida and became director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida.
Presently, his private practice concentrates on cosmetic eyelid, eyebrow, and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Lessner also performs procedures such as Botox®, facial fillers, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing. He has been invited to speak nationally and internationally about his surgical techniques. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Femida Kherani
Dr. Femida Kherani is Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia and the University of Calgary. Dr. Kherani completed her medical school and Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Alberta. She completed a two year ASOPRS Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Kherani enjoys teaching medical students, residents and fellows. She serves on the education committee for ASOPRS as an Oral Examiner. Dr. Kherani serves on the ASOPRS International Committee. She has participated in volunteer surgical eye expeditions to India, Mexico, Pakistan and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Kherani is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). She serves as the Canadian Commissioner for the International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personal of Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) and is the Liaison Member for the Canadian Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Kherani is on the Editorial Board for OSN and the American Academy of Ophthalmology Eyenet Publications. Dr. Kherani received the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2016. She loves her work and is committed to providing the best care for her patients.
Robert Schwarcz
Dr Schwarcz is double board-certified and known for natural results, specialising in eyelid blepharoplasty, facelift, neck lift, and facial fat transfer. All surgeries are performed in his JCAHO-certified Manhattan suite. He has private practice on the upper east side of Manhattan as well as a satellite presence in Scarsdale NY. Dr. Schwarcz regularly teaches and has appointment at Mount Sinai Medical Center as well as New York Eye & Ear infirmary. Andrew Harrison
Dr. Harrison graduated summa cum laude from University of Missouri Medical School. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. He went on to complete fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota and oculoplastic surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Harrison is a tenured Professor of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota where he also serves as the Vice Chair for Surgical Services and Director of Oculoplastic Surgery. He has published over 100 scientific papers and book chapters. He has consistently received the Best Doctors in America Award and been selected as one of America’s Top Ophthalmologists since 2005.
Sean Paul
Dr. Paul is a board certified surgeon of the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Dr Paul specializes in eyelid and facial plastic (cosmetic and reconstructive) surgery. He uses a blended approach of non-surgical treatments and surgery, including minimal incision techniques, to provide the best patient care. Dr. Paul completed his ASOPRS fellowship at the prestigious Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and pursued further elective training in cosmetic surgery of the eyelids and face. Dr. Paul has authored numerous scientific articles and been invited to speak at many national and international meetings. He feels privileged to return to Australia to share ideas with colleagues. His practice is based in Austin, Texas serving central and south Texas.
Daniel Ezra
Daniel Ezra is currently a consultant at the Adnexal Department at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and Associate Professor at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. He is also the Medical Director of Neo Healthcare, a large interdisciplinary head and neck clinic in the Harley Street Area of Central London. Daniel specialises in all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery and lacrimal disease. He is also the research lead and for Oculoplastic Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Daniel graduated from Cambridge and London Universities with degrees in Medicine and the History and Philosophy of Science, winning several prizes and awards. He undertook higher surgical training at Moorfields Eye Hospital with further training in in functional and aesthetic surgery as a Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital and as an Interface Fellow in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Mr. Ezra's research into eyelid laxity was awarded the Sir Lionel Whitby Medal and Prize by the University of Cambridge for a thesis of ‘exceptional merit’. This research was also awarded the Syme Medal by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His subsequent research as an NIHR Clinical Lecturer was awarded further prizes including the ESOPRS award, BOPSS award and British Thyroid Association prize. He is an internationally recognised authority on oculoplastic surgery and has a particular interest in primary and revision blepharoplasty surgery, periocular dystonias and lacrimal surgery.
